Call at friend's expense

You have run out of credits in your balance? Do you want to share payments for calls with your close people?

Now, with the aid of the service "Call at friend's expense", you can make calls without worrying about the state of your balance, and also let your close people not think about expenditures on their calls.

Price: 126.3 sum/min for the receiving subscriber (not depending on a tariff plan of the receiving subscriber).


How to make a call?

To use the service, enter (*) sign before the number: *99893XXXXXXX or *99894XXXXXXX, and dial.

Then, the receiving subscriber will receive a call form your number, and will be offered to pay for it. To accept the request, the receiving subscriber should enter 1. To deny the payment request, the receiving subscriber should enter 2, and a red button to drop the call. In this case, you will receive a notification stating that your request has been denied.

In case of successful connection and the payment request confirmation, every minute of the call for the receiving subscriber will cost 126.3 sum not depending on a tariff plan of the receiving subscriber.

 Attention! The service "Call at friend's expense" is available only for Prepaid subscribers and only within the network of Ucell.

Additional services
Black list

If you do not wish to receive call payment requests form a particular subscriber, you can add the number of that subscriber to the black list of "Call at friend's expense" service. In this case, the holder of the number which has been added to the black list will not be able to call you using "Call at friend's expense" service. Calls made by ordinary dialing will function in a regular manner.
  • In order to add a number to the black list, send an SMS with a command message "1 9989YXXXXXXX" to the number 922.
  • In order to delete a number form the black list, send an SMS with a command message "3 998YXXXXXXX" to the number 922.

Also, you are able to deactivate the service. In this case, no subscriber will be able to call you using "Call at friend's expense" service.
  • To deactivae the service, send SMS with a command message "1 *" (1 space *) to the number 922.
  • To re-activate the service, send SMS with a command message "3 *" (3 space *) to the number 922.

White list

If you want to receive "Call at friend's expense" service calls form your close people without confirming the call each time, you can add the numbers of your close people to the white list of "Call at friend's expense" service. In this case, the holder of the number which has been added to the white list will be able to make calls to you using "Call at friend's expense" service directly, without your further confirmation.
  • In order to add the number to the white list, send an SMS with a command message "2 9989YXXXXXXX" to the number 922.
  • In order to delete the number form the white list, send an SMS with a command message "4 9989YXXXXXXX" to the number 922.

"Zero balance" function

If subscriber making a call to another Ucell subscriber has insufficient balance to make a call, dialed subscriber will automatically get "Zero balance" function activation within "Call at friend’s expense" service. Thus, subscriber making a call gets to IVR where he is offered to use "Call at friend’s expense" service. With the concent of subscriber (to acept the subscriber should press "1") he gets to the regular "Call at friend’s expense" service. If dialing subscriber refuses to use "Call at friend’s expense" service he automatically gets "Missed call signal" function activated.

"Zero balance" function is not activated if dialed subscriber is not a Ucell subscriber and also if dialed subscriber is in roaming, outside the coverage area or doesn’t have sufficient balance to pay for the call.

"Missed call signal" function

"Missed call signal" function within " Call at friend's expense " service is a function of sending a notification of a missed call to the phone of the called subscriber. When this function is activated, the called subscriber is not dialed, but the subscriber receives a standard notification of the missed call. “Missed call signal” function is automatically activated in the following cases:
  1. If the caller refuses to use the service "Call at friend's expense" within "Zero Balance" function;
  2. If a subscriber making a call to a subscriber of another cellular operator within the Republic of Uzbekistan does not have enough money in the balance to make a call.
“Missed call signal” function is not activated if the called subscriber is in roaming or out of network coverage.
Other conditions
  • Maximum number of calls that can be made using "Call at friend's expense" service – 10 calls per day.
  • The service is not available if one of the subscribers is located in Roaming.

 Attention! If the subscriber who makes a call using "Call at friend's expense" service is also subscribed to the service "Caller Identity Restriction", receiving subscriber will be able to identify the number of the subscriber making a call.
