Last week, a ceremonial event marked the beginning of construction of the Coscom LLC Data Processing Center – "First DPC". This large-scale project represents a significant milestone in the company's history and a major technological breakthrough.
The new DPC is designed to support a total load of up to five MW and accommodate 180 server racks of two types – 14 and 16 kW. These capacities will enable Ucell to confidently meet its own computing needs through 2030. The center will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted operation of current data transmission services and in launching new digital products and solutions.
The General Director of Coscom LLC, Andrey Yuryevich Shishkovsky, opened the event. He emphasized that this is the country’s first data center being built by a mobile operator and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the project.
The ceremony concluded with a symbolic moment — the planting of the first tree on the site of the future center. This act marked not only the start of construction but also symbolized the company’s growth and sustainable development.
