You are offered to extend the agreement for 1, 3, 5 years or indefinitely (forever), and are also offered various options (categories) for connecting a bonus (cashback), such as increasing the volume of Internet or 15% of the payment.
3. SMS notifications from Ucell: during the conversation, you receive an SMS message and the fraudsters claim that they have sent a new contract number via SMS, which consists of 4 digits. They ask for a code to renew the contract and claim that they are acting on behalf of the operator.
4. In fact, an SMS from Ucell: In fact, the SMS message with the code is intended for authorization in the Ucell mobile application.
5. Gaining access to the Ucell mobile application: Having gained access to the code, attackers can enter the Ucell application and, if they have a linked bank card, transfer money to third-party electronic wallets.
Be careful and do not trust unfamiliar calls or messages, especially if you are asked to provide personal information or confirmation codes.
