Andrey Shishkovskiy, CEO of Ucell, and Rajan Bansal, CEO of Larsen & Toubro Limited, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the Kungrad Wind Power Plants project. The document outlines the parties' collaboration on developing modern telecommunications infrastructure at the site of one of the largest renewable energy projects being implemented in Uzbekistan by ACWA Power.

The project entails the construction of a wind power plant with a total capacity of 1,500 MW, equipped with an energy storage system, and will become one of the largest renewable energy projects in Uzbekistan."

According to the memorandum, Ucell will build eight base stations, lay fiber-optic communication lines, implement hybrid power supply systems, and provide mobile communication, data transmission, and broadband internet services for the construction sites and the subsequent commissioning of the facility. As part of its technological leadership strategy, Ucell is consistently developing its digital infrastructure by introducing modern and sustainable telecommunications solutions.
Larsen & Toubro Limited, the EPC contractor for the ACWA Power project, is responsible for implementing the infrastructure portion of the construction. The company has many years of international experience in executing large-scale projects in the energy, transport, and industrial infrastructure sectors.
The signing of the memorandum confirms the parties' commitment to long-term cooperation and their readiness to combine their potential and experience to implement one of the largest green energy projects in the region.
Ucell's advanced telecommunications infrastructure will ensure stable digital communication at all stages of the facility's construction and operation, contributing to the project's effective implementation and the introduction of modern technological solutions.
