Unlimited internet in Maldives

1. When activating the “Unlimited Internet in the Maldives” service, if the subscriber does not have an active roaming service, the “Worldwide roaming” service will be automatically assigned by default.

2. After reaching 18 GB in roaming, the internet speed will be reduced to 128 KB/sec. Monitoring of data consumption via USSD *155#.

3. To restore speed and use the Internet at a price of 1 MB for 500 UZS, you must deactivate the “Unlimited Internet in the Maldives” service via USSD *155# or in Ucell mobile application.

4. The “Unlimited internet in Maldives” service is valid for 30 days from the activation date. If the “Unlimited internet in Maldives” service is deactivated before the expiry of the term, the cost per 1 MB will be 500 UZS.

5.  The service can be activated and deactivated through the following service channels:

a. Ucell service offices;

b. Ucell subscriber support: 8123 or 8111;

с. Ucell mobile application;

d. USSD request *155#

6. For Prepaid subscribers and Corporate clients of the Postpaid system (Corporate VIP, Individual, Businessman categories), service activation and management are available via the *155# USSD command.

7. Business segment subscribers and clients must submit a written request to the Business Segment Service and Support Department of the Company to activate the service.

8. Make sure the service has been successfully activated via USSD *155# or the Ucell mobile application. Without an active service, internet in the Ooredoo (Maldives) network is not available.

9. The service is available only in the Ooredoo (Maldives) network.  In case of switching to another operator, Internet tariffs will be charged according to zonal roaming tariffs.

10. For the correct functioning of the service in roaming, if an internet session is active at the time of activation, it must be terminated, the service connected, and after successful activation, the session resumed.

11. The service is valid for 30 days from the moment of activation, without auto-renewal.

12. Activation of the service is not possible if the subscriber has an active “International Automatic Roaming” (IAR) service.

13. When the service is activated, if the subscriber has active roaming internet packages, Unlimited Internet 2.0, “Always in touch” package, etc., these packages will be deactivated and their limits canceled.

14. The service is not available on M2M tariff plans of both Postpaid and Prepaid systems.

15. The service can only be activated if the subscriber has sufficient funds in their account.

16. Re-activation of the service is possible only 30 days after the activation of the current package.

17. The quota of billable information under the unlimited internet service is 16 KB
