Ucell continues to expand its digital self-service capabilities. Subscribers can now replace their SIM cards directly through the Ucell mobile app without having to visit a company office.
The service allows subscribers to replace any supported type of SIM card while retaining their existing mobile number. Depending on the option selected, subscribers can switch from a physical SIM card to an eSIM, from an eSIM to a physical SIM card, or replace their SIM card or eSIM with a new one of the same type.
The following SIM replacement options are available in the Ucell mobile app:
• Physical SIM card to eSIM;
• eSIM to physical SIM card;
• Physical SIM card to another physical SIM card;
• eSIM to another eSIM.
With this new service, subscribers can choose the SIM format that best suits their needs and complete the replacement process online - quickly and conveniently, without visiting a Ucell office.
